I have posted this video clip before. Watched it a few more times today and wanted to share some of the things that I picked up in the video for didactic purpose. But I am going to let you watch it first and see if you pick up something useful as well.

there's a lot here to absorb but one thing immediately stands out to me..the lead's walking is amazing and different from what I have seen in other dancers.
ReplyDeleteIt is heel first and so completely relaxed that it looks effortless and completely un self conscious...an art for sure.
It seems that her foot lands a split second after the beat, and that it is very slow, relaxed...
