  1. Gung Hay Fat Choy, my friend!

Maybe I will go to Chinatown today at lunch and get something delicious for lunch and pretend you are my guest.

    ;-)

  2. TB,

Mayn Si Shun Yi (million of things go as you wish)! Do have some Dim Sum on me! When are you coming to tango in NYC now that you've gone to Seattle?

    XO

  3. Well, I can't go NOW because you're leaving again.

Maybe when the weather gets nicer, and I know you're going to be around for a while.

I think I will eat some Har Gow today, maybe some Sticky Rice in a Lotus Leaf, and say hello to you in my mind. ;-)

  4. Har Gow sounds great! My favourite is the Chicken feet, beef tripe and the baby pig. :) I hope that I don't ruin your appetite.

  5. Hey TP,

You forgot the jellyfish! And the 1000-year egg.

Sometimes I am more adventurous than others, but I've definitely had the chicken feet. I like those little pieces of pork spareribs with the black beans.

    xo

  6. TB,

Jelly fish and 1000-year old egg aren't my favourite. If you've tried to duck tongue and pig's blood with scallion and ginger, you are then my all time favourite gringa. :)

    XO

  7. It's not that I wouldn't try it...I just wouldn't know what to order because I can't read Cantonese or Mandarin. I think you would like my new wonton house...I am the only Caucasian I've ever seen in there.

I would totally try it if you ordered it and showed me. I'm up for most anything, at least once!

Come to SF...it's too cold in New York. The sun is shining here and you don't even need a coat.

  8. TB,

I think they are actually off menu items. No matter, you are my all time favourite gringa already (just with your spirit of trying everything for once.) San Fran is definitely one of my favourite cities. For now the equally warm and sunny BsAs scores more points because of the quality and quantity of tango.

Look forward to taking you out for Dim Sum one of these days.

    XO

  9. If you come out here, then the treat's on me. But you get to order, of course! I want Off The Menu stuff, to be sure. And a har gow, just in case.

    xoxo

  10. TB,

Deal! If you come out here, my treat and I get to order as well. :)

Or we all meet up in BsAs and go to the barrio Chino before heading out to a milonga. In that case, we split the bill.

    LOL.

  11. Hola TP,
Hmmmm, yum, yum, how much longer will you be in BsAs?

I'm coming soon in mid March, I've not explored the barrio Chino, maybe we can share an Argentine-Chinese meal and hearing your stories with Javier y Andrea's private classes.

It's too bad I'll miss them again this time, I missed them by two days in November.... :-(

Hopfefully I'll finally meet them this November.

Gung Hay Fat Choy! And where is my red envelope? :)

  12. Hola Tango,

I will be in BA till the 16th of March. And the food in Barrio Chino is pretty good. Would love to go back there again.

And sorry, no red envelop from me. I am still on the receiving end, not the giving end, even though I am well over the age limit. :)

  13. Hola red-envelope receiver,

LOL, well, age is not the limit as long as someone wants to give. :)

Too bad, I'll miss you by a day....

Well, next time. Please keep me posted with Javier's schedule. Their blog site does not have their 2008 schedule yet. You seem to know more about their schedule.

Have a great time in BsAs.

    abrazo

  14. TC,

Sometimes it is a bit embarrassing to receive the red envelops together with the little kids. :) I'll be back in November as well, most likely during the Thanksgiving week. Maybe meet up then.

I will keep blogging and share my experience with these two amazing teachers. They have transformed the way I dance tango.
