Started packing today. Sent the shirts to dry cleaner. Cleaned up the apartment. Paid some bills. Ironed some dress pants.
Check list(REVISED & unedited): cameras, cell phone, chargers, notebook computer, POWER ADAPTERS. memory card, Zune, external hard drive, jeans, shirts, shoes, two weeks underwear, after shave, body spray, Trojans, medicines, two credit cards, ITINERARY, COPIES OF PASSPORT, RANSOM INSTRUCTION, oh extra DUFFEL BAG, anything missing?

Seriously, though. I didn't see power adapter on your list (for the computer?) or the plug adapter.
Don't forget to make copies of your passport and credit card and leave them at home with a trusted friend.
Don't bring too much. You'll be shopping A LOT.

Yes, thanks for the reminder of power adapters. Bringing too many electronics, I hope I don't forget any power adapter and beat myself for that later.
Only bring two "low" limit plastic with me. Hope I don't bring back a container of stuff, like the last time I went to Italy(back with four hundred pieces of majolicas).
I've also left the ransom instruction with my family. Unless they threaten to chop off my feet,in which case I can't dance any more, don't pay anything.
